Congrats to Izumi

Congratulations to HMDC's treatment coordinator, Izumi for completing the Boston Marathon.  Thankfully she was ok and finished just prior to the explosions. We are grateful to have her back at the office with us.

Our heartfelt prayers and thoughts go out to the victims and their families.  On Monday, April 22nd at 2:50 pm doctors, staff and patients at Henderson Mill Dental Care observed a moment of silence in memory of the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing.

Kobe Bryant and Dr. Uetsuki

What do Kobe Bryant and HMDC's own Dr. Uetsuki have in common? They share a common injury. Kobe recently tore his achilles tendon and Dr. Uetsuki had the same injury several years ago. Does anyone know how Dr. Uetsuki injured his achilles? Hint...it was not basketball.

And for those inquiring minds....Dr. Uetsuki tore his achilles during a fencing tournament.  Sadly that was the end of his fencing journey.

Men's National Championship

Congratulations to the Louisville Cardinals on their victory over Michigan yesterday. What a game!  Kudos to Peyton Siva and Luke Hancock. According to USA Today, "Luke Hancock was the unlikeliest Most Outstanding Player in Final Four history".
